Question

Farting in the Wind

Mr. Obama (CEO and Head Thug of the US Corporation) said in a statement:

“This incident (Stalking from home to home, a United States Army sergeant methodically killed at least 16 civilians, 9 of them children, in a rural stretch of southern Afghanistan. The man gathered 11 bodies, including those of 4 girls younger than 6, and set fire to them.) is tragic and shocking, and does not represent the exceptional character of our military and the respect that the United States has for the people of Afghanistan.”

ISAF (NATO's International Security Assistance Force) deputy tool Lt. Gen. Adrian Bradshaw harrumphed and blurted this:

"I cannot explain the motivation behind such callous acts, but they were in no way part of authorized ISAF military activity,"

This non-apology shit never gets old for these smug creatures, does it?

I am never shocked by the US Corporation's willingness to murder and steal. Hell, it is in the corporate charter and anyone or anything that gets in the way of its profits will be destroyed. If you piss off The Corp, hell will surely follow. This is modern warfare "American" style. Conquest is achieved through the destruction of the "bad" guys infrastructure and the ensuing instability caused by the mayhem that follows. It is a perfect recipe for fun and profit.

1.) First, sell the "hardware of destruction." Next, persuade morons to use it. Repeat...

2.) When the area in question has been sufficiently devastated bring in the "peace" people and rebuild in The Corp's image.

Go To 1. and repeat.

Note: this is a win-win-win for The Corp as each step of the process involves enormous profits and perks.

Dirty Laundry

Farting in the Wind

The Times’ (the US Corporation's Newspaper of Record) Alissa Rubin on why the Bagram Prison must remain in the US Corporation's hands:

"Many of the estimated 3,200 people being detained [in Bagram’s prison] cannot be tried under Afghan law because the evidence does not meet the legal standards required to be admitted in Afghan courts... because Afghanistan has no law that allows for indefinite detention for national security reasons.”

Such a backward un-"enlightened" people those crazy Afghanis are! Don't they know that "detention" facilities are the wave of the future.

"Enlightened" Americans know when it comes to profit and protection there is no better way to invest their hard earned (stolen) money than in the war and security industries.

The Royal Scam

Farting in the Wind

Shark-In-Charge of the US Corporation Eric Holder justifies killing anyone, anytime.

"Neither Congress nor our federal courts has limited the geographic scope of our ability to use force* (kill anyone) to the current conflict in Afghanistan," Holder said. "We are at war with a stateless enemy, prone to shifting operations from country to country."

As if this wasn't incredible enough Benjamin Wittes (a shark scholar with the Brookings Institution) justifies the justification...

"It's essential that if we’re going to be doing these things (killing anyone), the top officials of our national security and legal officials explain why it's legal under international and constitutional law,"

...and then closes the circle.

"I think [the administration] is right as a matter of law."

This is what becomes of laws and values in the hands of murderers and thieves. To use the words of the SIC himself, This is an indicator of our times, not a departure from our laws and our values (as he spoke out of both gill sides at the same time.)

* The strike can't violate international standards governing the use of force by killing too many civilians or noncombatants.

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida

John Hawkins at ClownHall: 20 OBVIOUS TRUTHS that will "shock" liberals

1) The Founding Fathers were generally religious, gun-toting small government fanatics who were so far to the Right that they'd make Ann Coulter look like Jimmy Carter.

SHOCK value: 10

The FF were generally anti-religious (Jefferson and Franklin to name two) pen wielding Government creators who were the children of liberal thought (The Enlightenment) and would probably laugh, or cry, at the revisionism being done in their names. It must be noted that the FF like the sky-god is a pliable entity that can be formed into any shape the "true" believer desires.
Note: please see previous post about my explanation of "small" government.

2) The greatest evil this country has ever committed isn't slavery; it's killing more than 50 million innocent children via abortion.

SHOCK value: 10+

Slavery ranks with murder and torture as the greatest evils a human can do to another human. PERIOD. To argue counter to this is misogynistic, psychopathic and delusional.

3) Conservatives are much more compassionate than liberals and all you have to do to prove it is look at all the studies showing that conservatives give more of their money to charity than liberals do.

SHOCK value: 8

The measure of a person's compassion has nothing to do with money. Based upon "obvious truth" number two this conservative spokestool has a problem with his compassion meter.

4) When the Founding Fathers were actually around, there were official state religions and the Bible was used as a textbook in schools. The so-called "wall of separation between church and state" has absolutely nothing to do with the Constitution and everything to do with liberal hostility to Christianity.

SHOCK value: 2

Mentioning the FF and the sky-god in the same sentence earns him little in shock value. (see above, #1)

5) The biggest problem with our economy today is Barack Obama. His demonization (sic) of successful people, his driving up gas prices, his regulatory overload and threats to increase taxes have terrified businesses into hunkering down, refusing to spend money, and declining to hire new people. Replacing him would do more than any government policy to spur economic growth.

SHOCK value: 6

The biggest problem with the economy is it is based upon a faulty premise (unbridled greed and exploitation.) Whomever “wears the purple” in this country has a distinct and unfair advantage over those who don't. The president simply serves these interests in the economic sphere. I might add that electing a republican would only contribute to an acceleration of the economic meltdown to come.

6) Not only are conservatives more patriotic than liberals, but most American liberals "love" America in about the same way that a wife-beater loves his wife.

SHOCK value: 10+

Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel and the metaphor used here speaks volumes. (snark-how long have tank tops been getting married?)

7) Out of every 100 cries of “Racism” you hear these days, 99 are motivated by nothing other than politics.

SHOCK value: 1

When you pull statistics out of your ass you lose my interest.
Note: Racism is always political and always wrong.

8) Anyone paying income taxes is certainly paying his “fair share" -- and then some -- compared to the people who pay nothing.

SHOCK value: 5

Everyone who lives in this country (whether legally or not) pays taxes. (see #7 note)

9) You don't have a "right" to anything that other people have to pay to provide for you.

SHOCK value: 10+

Here is a perfect example of the true compassion of the conservative.

10) If we can ask people to present an ID to buy alcohol, drive a car, or get on an airplane, then asking them to present identification to vote is a no-brainer.

SHOCK value: 2

There is one major difference (and a lot of minor ones.) The three examples he gives involve spending money, so I guess he is implying that we should charge people to vote. It makes sense since You don't have a "right" to anything that other people have to pay to provide for you.

11) There's absolutely nothing that the government does smarter, better, or more efficiently than the private market with roughly equivalent resources.

SHOCK value: 0

I have no faith in either, so the point is moot.

12) The biggest problem with education in this country is liberals. They fight vouchers, oppose merit pay, refuse to get rid of terrible teachers, and bend over backwards to keep poor kids trapped in failing schools.

SHOCK value: 5

See my post Teach Your Children for my response.

13) Fascism, socialism, and communism are all left-wing movements that have considerably more in common with modern liberalism than modern conservatism.

SHOCK value: 10+

Fascism is conservatism taken to its extreme. To lump it with socialism and communism as a left wing movement betrays an ignorance of history that is disheartening and pathetic.

14) The Democratic Party was behind slavery, the KKK, and Jim Crow laws. It was also the party of Margaret Sanger, George Wallace, and Bull Connor. It has ALWAYS been a racist party. Even today, white liberals support Affirmative Action and racial set-asides because they still believe black Americans are too inferior to go up against whites on an even playing field.

SHOCK value: 6

First, the playing field is not equal. Second, see #7 above. Third, see #7 note above. Fourth, this is projection at its finest. Now someone get me a Fifth because I am going to need it to get through the rest of this.

15) A man with good morals who falls short and becomes a hypocrite is still a far better man than a liberal who can never be called a hypocrite because he has no morals at all.

SHOCK value: 10+

I will let logicians deal with the complete falsity and errors of this statement. See my post Mean Mistreater for my views on morality.

16) The most dire threat to America's future and prosperity in the last 150 years hasn't been the Nazis, the Soviets, or Al-Qaeda;, it's the spending and overreach of our own government.

SHOCK value: 3

See my post American Pie for explanation. Keep those war drones flying!

17) Greed isn't someone wanting to keep more of what he earns; it's people demanding a greater share of money that someone else earns.

SHOCK value: 1

Greed is what greed is. When is enough, enough? There's that compassion thing popping it's ugly head up again.

18) Most of the time in American politics, the liberal "victim" is really a bad guy who is absolutely delighted by the opportunity to pretend to be "offended."

SHOCK value: 1

Projection?

19) Jesus Christ was not a conservative, a liberal, or a politician. He was also not a capitalist or a socialist. Still, you can say this: Jesus drew sharp lines about what's right and wrong, he wasn't tolerant of what the Bible categorizes as sinful behavior, and there's absolutely no question that he would adamantly oppose abortion and gay marriage.

SHOCK value 10+

The sky-god is a pliable entity that can be formed into any shape the "true" believer desires.

20) When you demand that other people fund your sexual escapades by buying your contraception, your sex life becomes their business.

SHOCK value: 1

And the business of America is business. Conservatives loves them some business too.

There are many “obvious” truths in life. I can say emphatically that I don't believe any of these quips amount to more than mental masturbation on the part of the author. Not one of them shocked me. I was more shocked at the dysfunction involved in the process of compiling this load of bull shit. My SHOCK value was based more upon the relative boredom I felt than outrage. That anyone would believe this tripe is a question of the ages. That we will survive them will be the question for the ages.

OK...

Let's set the record straight once and for all.

You can't be against big government while simultaneously supporting the defense department (military) and also by extension the whole justice department (and its innumerable bureaucratic acronyms.)

To hold such a position renders any argument you make about government spending indefensible and moot.

It is probably a good indicator of your mental acumen as well.

End of discussion.
